We coach adults through an hour long class touching on the basic fundamentals of gymnastics. We start the class off with stretching in order to teach you how to properly warm up with dynamic and static splits as well as shoulder flexibility and back bends. Then we spend the first fifteen minutes of the class on strength conditioning, physical therapy. The last thirty minutes of the class include basic line drills including forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and round-offs and back handsprings and many variations of skills in order to improve air awareness, coordination and the flow of skills connected. Some classes will be focused on specific skills for the entire group to learn while other classes, each individual will be given specific assignments depending on their skill level. Beginner adults will be given beginner level tasks while advanced adults will have more difficult assignments. We will coach you with the goal in mind to help you progress into power tumbling which will eventually lead to back handsprings, back tucks and front tucks. We also allow for open gym so that you may focus on your own goals which can include the bars, beam, vault, tumble track.
